Education – Scott earned his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Portland State University, followed by an MBA with a concentration in Business Analytics from Southern Oregon University. He also completed a Graduate Certificate in Financial and Executive Management through the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business.
In addition, Scott has completed extensive professional training in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) through national conferences, professional organizations, and continuing education programs. He is recognized as a Credit Union Enterprise Risk Management Expert by the Credit Union National Association in partnership with the Rochdale Group and holds the NAFCU Certified Risk Manager (NCRM) credential. Scott is also a Certified Scrum Master and holds certifications in RSA’s Enterprise Governance, Risk and Compliance solutions.
Rogue Experience – Scott joined Rogue Credit Union in 2015 as Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management, bringing more than a decade of experience in risk management, analytics and operational leadership within the credit union industry. In 2019, he expanded his responsibilities to include leadership of the organization’s Business Intelligence function and was promoted to Vice President of Enterprise Insights.
In 2021, Scott was promoted to Senior Vice President of Analytics and Enterprise Risk Management. That year, he joined Rogue’s Leadership Team, where he led enterprise data, analytics and risk management functions. In 2026, Scott joined the Executive Team as Chief Experience Officer, responsible for advancing Rogue’s strategy to deliver exceptional member experiences across all channels.
Key Roles and Accomplishments – As Chief Experience Officer, Scott oversees Digital Experience, Marketing, Facilities and Member Experience—including Branch Member Services and Member Service Centers—helping to ensure Rogue Credit Union consistently delivers exceptional service while supporting members on their journey to financial well-being.
Throughout his career, Scott has built a reputation for improving organizational performance through data-driven decision-making, strategic leadership and forward-looking risk management. Prior to joining Rogue, he held a variety of leadership and analytical roles at a regional credit union, including positions in business analysis, contact center operations and enterprise solutions, ultimately serving as Director of Risk Management.
Scott is also active in both professional and community service. He serves as Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair for the Mt. Ashland Association, participates in the GoWest Association’s Regulatory Advocacy Subcommittee and previously served on the board of the Ashland Woodland Trails Association.
