Board Governance

Rogue Experience - Philip has been a member since 2005 and was elected to the Board in 2011. He currently serves as Board Chair, having previously served as Vice Chair and on other committees.

Background - Philip is the Chief Financial Officer for PMCI, Inc. and was previously an Accounting Professor at Southern Oregon University.

Key Roles/Accomplishments - Philip has served on several boards in Southern Oregon, including Southern Oregon Youth Ballet, Access, Gorilla Capital and St. Mary's School. He has also participated in regional development committees on workforce housing.

Rogue Experience - Heather has been a member since 1988. She was appointed to the Supervisory Committee in 2016 and elected to the Board in 2018. She currently serves as Vice Chair and on other Board committees.

Background - Heather is a CPA and the Finance Manager for Jackson County Library Services. She previously worked in public accounting in both Portland and Medford for nine years.

Key Roles/Accomplishments - Heather is a former Board member and Audit Committee Chair of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. She is a member of the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Rogue Experience - Peter has been a member since 2014. He was elected to the Board in 2017 and also serves on other Board committees.

Background - Peter was the mayor of Pocatello, Idaho, from 1990 to 1998. He was Chief Financial Officer and Dean of College Services at Clackamas Community College, then President of Colorado Northwestern Community College, before moving to the Rogue Valley. He became President of Rogue Community College in 2004, retiring in 2016.

Key Roles/Accomplishments - Peter serves on the Board of Directors of the FourWay Community Foundation and the RCC Foundation. He is the Board Chair for the Asante Board of Directors.

Rogue Experience - Alex has been a member since 2015. He was elected to the Board in 2017 and serves as Board Treasurer. He also serves on other various Board committees.

Background - Alex is a civil engineer and Co-President at i.e. Engineering, Inc. in Roseburg.

Key Roles/Accomplishments - Alex is Vice President of the Umpqua Community College Foundation Board and serves on the Board of the Roseburg Basketball Club.

Rogue Experience - Neil has been a member since 2010. He was appointed to the Supervisory Committee in 2017 and served as Chair from 2018 to 2019. In 2020, he was elected to the Board. He serves on various other Board committees.

Background - Neil is the CEO of the Grange Co-op and has been part of the management team since 2010. He is originally from Brookings and was a member of Chetco Federal Credit Union for many years. Prior to relocating to the Rogue Valley, Neil worked in Portland for the CPA firm Moss Adams.

Key Roles/Accomplishments - Neil is a CPA certified in Oregon. He is a past member of the Board of Directors for the Agriculture Council of California and a former Treasurer for the Central Point Chamber of Commerce.

Rogue Experience - Roger was appointed to the Rogue Credit Union Board of Directors in 2021. Roger was a member of Malheur Federal Credit Union for many years. There, he served on the Board of Directors for 24 years, including two years as Board Chair.

Background - Roger is a Crop Consultant for Farmers Supply Co-Op in Weiser. Prior to that, he worked for a local Drip Irrigation Company and Micron Technology as a Manager in the Die Recovery Division.

Key Roles/Accomplishments - Roger currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Scotch Pines Golf Course Board of Directors. He previously served on the Board of Directors for the Idaho Irrigation Equipment Association.

Rogue Experience - Katie has been a member since 2015 and was appointed to the Board in 2020.

Background - Katie is the President of K. Hutch & Co., a consulting firm. Previously, Katie served as Vice President of Philanthropy at Dutch Bros. She also ran the Providence Community Health Foundation for six years and the Easter Seals Oregon Rogue Valley Services for eight years.

Key Roles/Accomplishments - Katie served as the third female President of the Rotary Club of Medford. She is past President of the Women's Leadership Conference and served as a member of the original planning committee.
